Nice to see you write something. Thanks also for your comment on my space. "The closed book" is a poem I wrote in 2005. It is one of my first poems and still one of my favorites. The last poem I wrote was "This and These" It is a poem about my fond memories of a place where I lived and where I finally found my love. That will be the last poem I write for a long time. I have no interest in writing new ones. When I write a poem that is special to myself, I really want it to be the last poem I write and let it be that way for long time. I want to enjoy the nice poem.

    This and These

This is the place that housed my smiles.
These are the streets that run for miles.
This is the place I called home.
These are the streets I used to roam.
This is the place I met my dove.
These are the streets I pondered love.
This is the place where I finally knew.
These are the streets that lead to you.
